Meet the Doctors

Roxanne Siegrist, DDS

Dr. Siegrist is a passionate and dynamic dentist. She has found that the possibilities for a dentist are endless. Throughout the day she plays many roles: surgeon, mechanic, architect, artist, scientist, detective, and coach. Dr. Siegrist studied ecology before going to dental school and is always thinking about the big picture beyond the teeth. Dr. Siegrist has three sons, Jack, Charlie, and Teddy. She appreciates the beauty of nature in solitude and prefers hiking and nordic skiing. She enjoys playing fiddle and mandolin.

Christopher Rooney, DDS

Christopher C. Rooney, DDS is a lifelong resident of Kansas City, but spends regular time with us in Crested Butte where he has a second home. For over 20 years, Dr. Rooney has honed his craft, specializing in advanced oral surgery procedures, dental implants and reconstructive dentistry. He is among the nation’s top specialists, and serves as a Diplomat of the American Board of Oral Implantology — one of the top credentials an implant dentist can achieve.

Carrie Boehem

She recognized her son and other family members as suffering from these problems and began her journey as a myofunctional therapist. She loves how her work of guiding patients through exercises can profoundly change their health status. Carrie likes hiking, kayaking, and visiting her adult children whenever she can.

Kayla Hanson

Her experience in caring for the health of the environment has naturally lent itself to a passion for holistic medicine. Kayla is especially interested in airway health and the oral microbiome.

Erik Peterson

Systems Manager

Erik studied economics and physics at Western Colorado University. He loves solving problems and following systems. He brings a quantitative sensibility to Integrative Dentistry so that we can keep our practice running smoothly. Erik is a fly fisherman in his free time.

Meet Sprocket!

Clinical Support Pup

Sprocket is our most popular team member. After his owner died, he was brought to the Aztec Animal Shelter, in New Mexico. As an 11 pound shih tzu mix, he held his own with the rough and wild reservation dogs of the four corners. After 6 months, he was brought to the area by Gunnison Underdog Rescue. Dr. Siegrist went to meet him and immediately knew that he was the sidekick she needed to treat children and phobic patients. Sprocket is the perfect size to cuddle in your lap. He loves to be held on his back and will close his eyes like a babydoll when you lay him back. The children and adults absolutely love him.
